Die von Koray Melikoğlu herausgegebene literaturwissenschaftliche Reihe Studies in English Literatures (SEL) befasst sich sowohl mit der von jeher in der Anglistik und Amerikanistik untersuchten Literatur als auch mit anderen international beachteten englischsprachigen Autorinnen und Autoren wie Chinua Achebe, Bessie Head oder Wole Soyinka.
Die Reihe, die von der Kritik bislang schon mit viel Lob und Anerkennung bedacht wurde – siehe auch die untenstehenden Beispiele von Rezensionen über Bände in der Reihe – steht allen theoretischen Ansätzen sowie Monographien wie Sammelbänden gleichermaßen offen.

Der Herausgeber:
Koray Melikoğlu studierte Anglistik und Linguistik an der Freien Universität Berlin sowie am University College Cardiff und war an den Universitäten Yeditepe und Istanbul tätig. In seinen Publikationen beschäftigte er sich mit Shakespeare, Eliza Haywood, Charlotte Lennox, Flann O’Brien und Kazuo Ishiguro.
