French Didactics in Dialogue (FDD) is a series that presents the dialogue of all parties that are part of French lessons. Respective dialogues that were led due to the “French Didactics Conferences”, are made available for the interested expert audience. The first of these conferences took place in September of 2010 under the headline of “Varieties in French Language Teaching”. The characteristic that the project was built on, is the dialogue between university professors for French Didactics, French teachers, student teachers and senior students. Professors present their newest research results and gain immediate feedback in the consecutive discussion: From the teachers about the suitability for the teaching practice and from the students concerning potential and value but also about neuralgic points. Both the conferences and this series are based on our conviction that innovation and increase in quality for French Language Teaching is only possible if all parties interact and enter into a dialogue with each other to make a twofold feedback possible.
French Didactics in Dialogue complements the 2007 Magazine for Romance Languages and their Didactics (ZRomSD) and the 2006 series Romance Languages and their Didactics. The outer appearance is also similar due to the textual connection, differing from the other entries in its green color.
