The author

About the author

Dr Archie Henderson obtained his Ph.D. in English at UCLA, writing a dissertation on the American poet Ezra Pound. This led to a long series of articles on various aspects of Pound studies. He has worked on updating the Ezra Pound and T.S. Eliot bibliographies for many years. Based on talks and conversations at the 21st international Ezra Pound Conference in 2005, he developed an interest in Pound and the American far right. This interest culminated in a book, "I Cease Not to Yowl" Reannotated: New Notes on the Pound/Agresti Correspondence, which illuminates numerous connections between Pound and figures on the American and Italian right. Henderson is an independent scholar and currently practices law in Houston, Texas.

"Scholarship on the alt-right and its precursors seems destined to grow in any case. It’s hard to imagine a resource more likely to ensure that it does than Archie Henderson’s four-volume Conservatism, the Right Wing, and the Far Right: A Guide to Archives.”—Inside Higher Ed, 08/2018
