In Statu Nascendi is a peer-reviewed journal that aspires to be a world-class scholarly platform encompassing original academic research dedicated to the circle of Political Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Theory of International Relations, Foreign Policy, and the political Decision-making process. About the author

Piotr Pietrzak, Ph.D. is co-founder and editor-in-chief of In Statu Nascendi – Journal of Political Philosophy and International Relations, a non-profit organization based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He specializes in the Middle East and the Islamic World and looks at his research area through the prism of some of most exciting developments in the International Relations theory, geopolitics, conflict resolution strategies, continental philosophy, and international law. His primary interests relate to recent socio-political developments in Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, the Balkans, as well as Cyprus, Georgia and Ukraine. Pietrzak regularly comments on matters related to the ever-changing nature of the Middle East in the ever-changing Global Environment, and the superpower/regional power competition during and after the cold war.

Pietrzak is also the author of On the Idea of Humanitarian Intervention. A New Compartmentalization of IR Theories, Published by ibidem Verlag in 2021.
