Last Year Berthold M. Kuhn and Dimitrios L. Margellos presented a thoroughly reflected analysis of global trends shaping our future. „Global Perspectives on Megatrends“ is an output of an ongoing research, dialogue and teaching project which involves cooperation and exchanges with researchers, analysts and practitioners from various institutions, countries, and world regions.

One year after the publication of the book, the analysis remains relevant. In particular, the authors were able to foresee developments in climate action, in geo-economics and geo-politics, inequality and migration. This Megatrends Update is meant to stimulate further exchanges and cooperation with the readers.

Letztes Jahr präsentierten Berthold M. Kuhn und Dimitrios L. Margellos eine tiefgreifende Analyse globaler Trends, die unsere Zukunft prägen. „Global Perspectives on Megatrends“ ist das Ergebnis eines laufenden Forschungs-, Dialog- und Lehrprojekts, das die Zusammenarbeit und den Austausch mit Forschern, Analysten und Praktikern aus verschiedenen Institutionen, Ländern und Weltregionen beinhaltet.

Auch ein Jahr nach der Veröffentlichung bleibt die Analyse aktuell. Insbesondere konnten die Autoren Entwicklungen im Klimaschutz, in der Geoökonomie und Geopolitik, Ungleichheit und Migration vorhersehen. Dieses Megatrends Update soll den weiteren Austausch und die Zusammenarbeit mit den Lesern anregen.
