Dr Faris Kočan studied European Studies in Ljubljana. Since 2022, he is an assistant professor at Chair of International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Dr Kočan is a member of Central and Eastern European Studies Association and International Studies Association. His previous books include Identity, Ontological Security and Europeanisation in Republika Srpska (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023) and European Narratives and Euroscepticism in the Western Balkans and the EU (Routledge, 2024). His papers have been published by, among other outlets, in Nationalities Papers, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies and Peacebuilding.
