Dr Aleksandra Monkos studied Political Science in Poznań. Since 2022, she is an Independent Scholar, a News and Information Literacy Specialist in Demagog Association and a Lecturer of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism in Poznań, Poland. Previously, Monkos held fellowships at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Ukraine, and Stockholm University in Sweden. Her previous books include Polish and Ukrainian NGOs in development cooperation with the media in Ukraine (Adam Mickiewicz University Press, 2022). Her papers have been published by, among other outlets, Europe-Asia Studies, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, Nationalities Papers, Journal of International Relations and Development, Central European Journal of Communication.
