This publications in the series Body Feeling and Body Education define the term "education" as an intersubjective and body correlated awareness process. They therefore categorize themselves as epistomological in phenomenonology.
Through this orientation, the editors recollect something that seems to have gotten lost in contemporary perception: Education as a form of individuation and world perception is only possible through the integration of bodily and therefore emotional processes.

Prof. Dr. med. Annette Nauerth teaches and researches at Bielefeld College in the department of Nursing and Health.
Prof. Dr. Cornelia Muth is a professor for Educational Studies, Social Philosophy and Social Ethics at the department of Social Work at Bielefeld College.
