This collected volume presents research focusing on the interaction of domestic, foreign, and transnational actors in the process of the construction of national interests. The contributors concentrate on the extent to which the role of non-state actors has strengthened the formulating of national interests of the Slovak Republic in the post-integration period. Radoslava Brhlíková is Assistant professor at the Department of Political Science and Eurasian Studies at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. Her field of study is European integration, international relations, and security issues. She is the author of several studies, articles, and monographs, amongst them European Union after Lisbon (2012), Security and the European Union (2014), Policies of the European Union after Lisbon (2014).
